By creating an account or using skanvia.io, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

skanvia.io provides QR code creation, management, and analytics tools. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We target 99.5% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure. Accounts are intended for individual or business use — access may not be shared across unrelated organisations.

skanvia.io must not be used to distribute malware, phishing links, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property. Accounts found in violation of this policy may be suspended or terminated without refund.

skanvia.io Pro is billed annually at $27 USD per year, payable in advance. All fees are in USD. Pricing may be updated with 30 days’ prior notice.

Every new skanvia.io Pro subscription is backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email us at studio@skanvia.io within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Refunds are not available after the 14-day window, on renewal charges where the account has been actively used, or for partial billing periods. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days.

We collect your email address at registration — no payment details are required or collected to create a free account. If you choose to upgrade to Pro, payment details are collected separately at that time by our payment processor. For each QR code scan we record a timestamp, country and city (derived from IP address), device type, and operating system. Raw IP addresses are not retained beyond the moment of processing.

Your data is used solely to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

We use your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) to keep you signed in between visits, and to remember your UI preferences. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Scan analytics are retained for 24 months or the life of your account, whichever is shorter. Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.

You may request a copy of your data, correction of any inaccuracies, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing studio@skanvia.io. We will respond within 14 business days.

We use PayFast for payment processing and Supabase — a secure, independent cloud database provider — to store your account and QR code data. This is skanvia.io's own managed infrastructure; we do not use, require, or connect to any personal cloud storage (such as iCloud or Google Drive) you may already have. Both operate under appropriate data-protection standards for our service regions.
